TMTPOST — Infini-AI and MiniMax formalized a strategic partnership in a deal announced Wednesday, focusing on joint advances in large-model infrastructure and deployment. The agreement, signed by Shanghai Infini-AI Intelligent Technology and Shanghai Xiyu Technology (MiniMax), centers on four areas: co-optimizing model inference efficiency systems, jointly building large-model Token services and AI infrastructure, collaborating on new application paradigms, and expanding intelligent solutions across industry scenarios at scale. Infini-AI contributes its heterogeneous computing and Token-service platform expertise, while MiniMax brings its foundation-model capabilities to the shared effort. The partnership aims to lower inference costs and accelerate practical adoption of large models by integrating model development more tightly with underlying compute and service layers. Both companies already operate in overlapping segments of China’s AI ecosystem—MiniMax as a multimodal model developer and Infini-AI as an infrastructure and MaaS provider—making the collaboration a natural extension of existing technical and commercial ties.
