LobsterAI, developed by the NetEase education unit, ranks among the first fully open-source desktop-grade agents from a major Chinese technology company and has surpassed 5,800 GitHub stars while handling hundreds of thousands of daily interactions. Users can operate the agent on local files, terminals and browsers, or issue commands remotely through WeChat, Feishu, DingTalk and other messaging platforms.
