Unitree Robotics Opens STAR Market IPO Subscription
TMTPOST — Unitree Robotics began online and offline subscription for its Shanghai STAR Market initial public offering on Monday at an issue price of 150.80 yuan per share. The company is offering 40.446434 million shares, representing 10 percent of post-issue share capital, and expects to raise about 6.099 billion yuan before expenses, or a net 5.917 billion yuan. Payment is due Aug. 12. The offering implies a market capitalization of roughly 61 billion yuan and includes strategic placement to investors such as the National Social Security Fund and the parent of DeepSeek. Unitree, a Hangzhou-based maker of humanoid and quadruped robots, reported more than 5,500 humanoid units shipped in 2025, ranking first globally, alongside cumulative sales of over 33,000 quadrupeds. Proceeds will largely fund research into intelligent robot models, body development, new product lines and a manufacturing base designed to lift annual capacity to 75,000 humanoid and 115,000 quadruped robots. The listing marks the first major A-share debut of a pure-play humanoid robot producer.
