Aureka Biotechnologies Closes $100 Million Series B
TMTPOST — Aureka Biotechnologies completed a US$100 million Series B financing round on Monday. Granite Asia exclusively funded the first tranche, while a subsequent tranche was led by a prominent strategic investor, with participation from HighLight Capital and follow-on commitments from existing shareholders including Qiming Venture Partners and NRL Capital. The company has now raised nearly US$200 million in total. Proceeds will primarily support research and large-scale training of its next-generation biological foundation models. The Laguna Hills- and Shanghai-based Tech-Bio firm focuses on agent-driven de novo antibody design through its AuraIDE platform, combining generative models with high-throughput single-cell functional screening. Funds will also upgrade its Lab-in-the-Loop experimental feedback system to tighten the closed loop between models and wet-lab validation. The raise follows earlier Series A and A+ rounds that brought cumulative proceeds close to US$100 million and advances the company’s push to translate model capabilities into clinical-stage drug assets.
