Qwen Opens AI Glasses Skills Platform for Custom Agents
TMTPOST — Alibaba’s Qwen Open Platform has expanded its AI glasses capabilities, enabling developers to build custom Skills for scenarios including tour guides, coaches and industrial inspections. On the glasses side the platform offers a Skill module and an industry-customization module. Developers can invoke open capabilities such as camera capture and voice interaction, or describe requirements in natural language, to create domain-specific agents that provide real-time guidance, obstacle detection for the visually impaired, scenic explanations or recipe assistance. Enterprise users can further tailor inspection assistants that identify equipment status, check shelf displays and flag anomalies according to their own workflows. Additional glasses features, including spatial 3D stereoscopic display and motion-plus-health sensing, are being rolled out progressively to enlarge the development surface. The moves extend the multi-terminal open platform that already covers the Qwen app, PC and glasses, allowing third-party Skills to run as independent conversational agents across wearable and stationary endpoints.
