Alibaba Cloud Launches Zhenwu M890 Super-Node Instances
TMTPOST — Alibaba Cloud has made its Lingjun Zhenwu M890 super-node instances available, with the first region opened in Ulanqab.
The instances, built on T-Head’s Zhenwu M890P chips, support 64-card Scale-up interconnect via ICN Switch 1.0 at 800 GB/s and offer a roughly 9 TB high-bandwidth memory pool. They natively handle FP8 and FP4 (MXFP4) low-precision computation and are positioned as the first domestic super-node form factor successfully running models exceeding 2 trillion parameters. Both Kimi K3 and Qwen3.8 Max have been adapted and are already providing services on the instances.
In intelligent-driving and embodied-intelligence training workloads the new platform delivers up to three times the training performance of the prior-generation Zhenwu 810E. The public-cloud offering allows customers to access a fully interconnected 64-card unit without assembling hardware, targeting large-scale MoE training and high-throughput inference for next-generation foundation models.
