Weiling Medical Raises Over RMB 100 Million for Implantable BCI
TMTPOST — Medical brain-computer interface developer Weiling Medical has completed a financing round of more than RMB 100 million, according to reports. Junzhong Capital led the round, with the Jiaxing Innotek Industrial Fund, in which Sci-Tech Innovation Board-listed Innotek is a core industrial investor, serving as a primary contributor. Previous backers include Gaorong Capital, Life Park Venture Capital, CDH Investments and Lihe Sci-Tech. Proceeds will advance clinical validation of the company’s core implantable BCI products, accelerate medical-device registration filings, strengthen manufacturing capabilities and expand clinical applications focused on neurological function repair. Founded in 2019, Weiling Medical develops fully implantable, medical-grade BCI systems aimed at treating severe brain injuries and neurological disorders. The company has already initiated investigator-initiated trials for customized implants and is progressing multiple electrode and signal-processing products through the regulatory pipeline.
