Alibaba Cloud Activates Third Data Center in South Korea
TMTPOST — Alibaba Cloud has officially brought its third data center in South Korea online and simultaneously launched a suite of Agentic AI services, the company said Tuesday.
The new facility expands local capacity for computing, storage, networking, security, databases, containers and cloud-native offerings while introducing six Agentic AI tools that cover agent development, deployment, operations and security management. The move responds to rising demand for artificial-intelligence and cloud services among South Korean enterprises.
Alibaba Cloud has recently strengthened its infrastructure footprint in markets including France, Japan, Malaysia and Mexico. With the latest addition, its global network spans 30 regions and 104 availability zones, and the company plans further expansion into Brazil and other countries.
