TMTPOST — Zhipu AI has made the application programming interface for its GLM-5.3 model available starting Wednesday. The model is positioned for complex coding, defensive cybersecurity and long-horizon tasks. On the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index it scored 60, placing it in the global frontier range alongside closed-source flagship systems such as Claude Fable 5 and GPT-5.6 Sol, and tying with Kimi K3 for the top ranking among open-source models. GLM-5.3 has been integrated into Zhipu’s ZCode coding platform and the GLM Coding Plan. API access is open at the same pricing as GLM-5.2, and the company said the model weights will be released as open source next Friday.
