Dreame Sues Xiaohongshu Over User Identity Disclosure
TMTPOST — Dreame Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. has filed a reputation-rights lawsuit against Xiaohongshu’s domestic operating entity, with a hearing scheduled for Sept. 8 at the Shanghai Huangpu District People’s Court. According to people familiar with the matter, the action stems from Dreame’s request that the platform disclose the real identity of a self-media user it alleges infringed its rights. Such disclosure requests are a standard procedural step in online infringement cases under Chinese law. The account in question published a post in November last year concerning Dreame’s organizational restructuring. Court and public records list the defendant as Xingyin Information Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Xiaohongshu’s core domestic operator. The case is recorded as a reputation dispute.
