TMTPOST — China Mobile has open-sourced Open-RAIL, described as the industry’s first general engineering base that connects vision-language-action and world-action models with robot hardware. The platform integrates model inference, real-robot execution, data feedback and model iteration in a single closed-loop system. It has been adapted to four heterogeneous robots and supports 10 mainstream VLA/WAM models. New models can typically be integrated with 50 to 100 lines of code through a standardized interface, while a hardware abstraction layer aims to simplify control and execution across different robot platforms.
