BEIJING, December 23 (TMTPOST) — Chinese telecom giant Huawei introduced the AITO “Wenjie M5” SUV co-developed with its automaking partner SERES at its winter launch on Thursday.

Running on both electricity and fuel, AITO Wenjie M5 is a mid-sized SUV powered by Huawei’s DriveONE electrical system and HarmonyOS smart cockpit.

The car features L2+ autonomous functions, including lane cruising assistance, blind-spot alerts, and 360° intelligent parking in over 100 scenarios.

Consumers will be able to see Wenjia M5 at 180 Huawei outlets in 42 cities in China, starting from December 23. Test drive will be available from January 20, 2022, at 500 Huawei outlets in 118 cities in the country. Consumers can also pre-order the car via AITO’s website or the Huawei app.
