BlueFocus, Baidu Join Hands on Metaverse and Marketing
BlueFocus aims to create virtual 4S dealership stores in Xirang that allow users to visit whenever and wherever they want. Users will be able to shop for cars and consult with car dealers in virtual 4S stores in Xirang.

BEIJING, December 27 (TMTPOST) — Chinese search giant Baidu and international advertisement agency BlueFocus Communication Group announced at the Create 2021 conference that they have reached a strategic partnership agreement on integrating metaverse and marketing. 

The announcement was made at Baidu’s signature AI developer conference Create 2021, which was held in Baidu’s metaverse Xirang. Baidu and BlueFocus will collaborate on making use of Xirang to achieve marketing purposes under the partnership.

The partnership includes building an exclusive virtual building for BlueFocus in Xirang’s core area. It is said that the building will be used as a pilot zone for BlueFocus’ metaverse marketing operation, which will showcase marketing strategies such as virtual avatar, virtual livestreaming, virtual launch conference and virtual product, etc.

BlueFocus will become an exclusive marketing agent for the automobile industry in Xirang, as well as an agent for other marketing scenarios. The company serves over 3000 clients across eight industries, with leading advantages in the automobile sector. BlueFocus’ automobile clients include both traditional automaking heavyweights and emerging new energy car makers.

BlueFocus aims to create virtual 4S dealership stores in Xirang that allow users to visit whenever and wherever they want. Users will be able to shop for cars and consult with car dealers in virtual 4S stores in Xirang.

Xirang consists of different virtual spaces, in which users can engage in a variety of interactions. According to Xirang’s official site, users can organize activities such as exhibitions, conferences, concerts and competitions in Xirang. Its use scenes include education, marketing, online conferencing, training and exhibitions.

Xirang is a planet with a Mobius strip shape. The virtual city on it features a lot of Chinese elements. Users can enter Xirang via PC, smartphone and VR device. In Xirang, users can create their own virtual avatar and participate in activities like attending seminars, shopping, exchange events and exhibitions.
