Xiaomi Unveils Watch S1, Starting from 1,099 Yuan
The watch supports Bluetooth-connected calls and third-party apps, running on a 470mAh battery pack that allows it to last 12 days with mixed usage. Optimized by AI, Watch S1 can last for up to 24 days in low-performance mode.

BEIJING, December 29 (TMTPOST) — Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi unveiled its Xiaomi Watch S1 series alongside the brand’s new flagship smartphone Xiaomi 12 on Tuesday at its winter launch conference.

Xiaomi Watch S1 series offers two color options – black and silver. In addition, consumers can choose from three leather watch straps.

Xiaomi Watch S1 is the company’s more premium watch to date with a stainless-steel construction design. The watch face is protected by sapphire glass and adopts a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 (326 PPI density). The watch model is geared towards business users.

According to Xiaomi, Watch S1 has over 117 sports modes and is 5ATM waterproof, with GNSS positioning for outdoor activity tracking. Watch S1 is also equipped with heart rate sensors and blood oxygen sensors that help users monitor their health 24/7. The watch can track sleeping patterns as well.

Xiaomi Watch S1 starts from 1,099 to 1,199 yuan (around US$172 ~ US$188) depending on the watch strap. The rubber watch strap version is priced at 1,099 yuan while the leather strap ones are priced at 1,199 yuan, slightly more expensive than the former.

Xiaomi Watch S1 is now available for pre-order on Chinese e-commerce platforms such as Tmall and JD.com and Xiaomi’s own online outlet.

Besides Watch S1, Xiaomi also rolled out Xiaomi Buds 3 at the launch conference. Xiaomi Buds 3 is a truly wireless stereo (TWS) device that has an ultra-dynamic dual-magnetic driver unit that Xiaomi says will help deliver audio output with all levels of details.

Xiaomi Buds 3 is also now available for pre-order on e-commerce platforms. Xiaomi Buds 3 is priced at 449 yuan.
