Renowned Financial News Veteran Zhang Yong Joins TMTPost
Financial and business news veteran Zhang Yong has joined TMTPost as the Executive President, overseeing TMTPost’s business operation and management.

BEIJING, January 17 (TMTPOST) — Financial and business news veteran Zhang Yong has joined TMTPost as the Executive President on Monday. Zhang will oversee TMTPost’s business operation and management.

As an industry veteran and pundit in the financial and business news world, Zhang had served as the Vice President of financial news media Jiemian Cailianshe and the General Manager of Cailianshe before joining TMTPost. Zhang was also the President of Qdaily and the General Manager of CBNWeekly. He co-founded the business information platform The Economic Observer.

Zhang’s joining marks important progress for TMTPost’s transition to a financial media and the company’s talent strategy, TMTPost’s founder Zhao Hejuan said. In 2020, TMTPost set the goal to transform into a financial media and become China’s Bloomberg.

TMTPost has developed new products such as tech stock news, in-depth industry reports, education for tech stock investors, expert network and member service, etc. based on its four pillar businesses – new media, tech stock data service, global technical expert network and technology IP & creative product service. TMTPost is dedicated to becoming a financial information platform with global influence.
