Voyah Plans to Open 105 Outlets in 48 Cities in China
Voyah is planning to expand its physical operation to 105 outlets to cover 48 cities in the country in 2022. It will also increase the number of vehicle delivery service centers to 40 in 40 cities.

BEIJING, January 17 (TMTPOST) — Chinese EV maker Voyah is planning to open 105 brick-and-mortar outlets in China, covering 48 cities in the country.

The EV brand’s first batch of physical outlets in northern China’s Shijiazhuang city —— its outlets at the Wonder Mall and the Mixc ——have recently opened. Its outlets at Beijing New Yansha Mall, Guangzhou Happy Valley and Wuhan Yintai Creative Mall have also started operation. To date, Voyah has 45 physical outlets in China, providing services in 23 major cities.

Voyah is planning to expand its physical operation to 105 outlets to cover 48 cities in the country in 2022. It will also increase the number of vehicle delivery service centers to 40 in 40 cities. The brand is also looking to increase its sheet metal spraying centers to 70 in 51 cities.

Launched in September 2020, Voyah is a Chinese automobile manufacturer that specializes in designing and developing electric vehicles. It is the luxury division of Chinese state-owned automaker Dongfeng Motor Corporation.

The brand officially launched its first model Voyah Free on December 18, 2020. The Voyah Free is available in two power combinations, extended range and pure electric. The NEDC (New European Driving Cycle) comprehensive cruising range is 860 km for the extended range model and 500 km for the pure electric model. It is an all-electric and plug-in hybrid, 7-seater full-sized Crossover Sport Utility Vehicle. The Voyah Free is built on Dongfeng’s Electric Smart Secure Architecture (ESSA) platform.

Voyah delivered 3,330 cars in December 2021, a 192% increase from November.

New energy vehicles have remained popular in the Chinese market. Around 3.3 million new energy vehicles were sold in 2021. This means that China ranked first globally in terms of the sales of new energy vehicles for a seventh consecutive year in 2021 despite supply chain pressures.
