California Treasurer Fiona Ma Stresses Inclusive Innovation at NEX-T Summit

California State Treasurer Fiona Ma has highlighted the essential role of inclusive innovation, sustainable growth, and Asian American leadership in driving the next era of global technological advancement.

She made the comments when delivering a message during the two-day Next-T Summit 2025 at Stanford University that kicked off on September 27.

In her remarks, Ma congratulated summit organizers, partners and participants, calling the event “a vital platform for exchanging ideas and exploring the future of innovation.”

The summit, hosted by NextFin.AI in partnership with the Global Asian Leadership Alliance (GALA), TMTPost Group, Shanda Group and Barrons' China, brings together leading voices in venture capital, technology, and policy to tackle the world’s most pressing challenges through cross-sector collaboration.

“As an advocate for entrepreneurs and cross-border collaboration, I deeply admire the vision behind this event—empowering Asian innovators, amplifying diverse voices, and building bridges between industries and communities,” Ma said.

She emphasized the importance of diverse leadership in shaping the global innovation landscape, particularly the contributions of Asian American entrepreneurs and professionals. Her message reflected California’s broader commitment to equity, opportunity, and international cooperation.

The summit arrives at a time of heightened focus on the ethical and economic implications of artificial intelligence, innovation, and inclusive growth.
